Each piece is designed with intention. Our Adinkra bracelets feature symbols rooted in West African visual language, each carrying its own meaning and story. We encourage you to wear what resonates with you.
Our bracelets feature a brass base with thick 18k gold or rhodium plating, finished for durability and designed to be water and sweat resistant. Each piece is crafted to balance everyday wear with an elevated finish.
Like all plated jewelry, some natural wear can occur over time depending on use and care. We use high-quality plating and protective finishing to maximize longevity.
Our pieces are water and sweat resistant, meaning they're made to handle everyday life. For longest wear, we recommend limiting exposure to harsh chemicals, pools, lotions, and prolonged water contact.
Our bracelets come in multiple sizes or are designed with an adjustable fit to accommodate a range of wrist sizes. Specific sizing details are listed on each product page.
Yes — we offer worldwide shipping. Complimentary U.S. shipping on orders of 2+ pieces.
Because our drops are produced in limited quantities, all sales are final. If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, contact us and we'll make it right.
Some pieces may return, but not always. tuesdays operates in limited releases, so we recommend joining the email list for first access to future drops and restocks.
We produce intentionally and in limited quantities to preserve quality, focus, and meaning behind each release.
The name comes from the Akan tradition of naming children for the day they are born. Our founder was born on a Tuesday — making him Kwabena, a name tied to the ocean and everything it carries: depth, movement, and the refusal to hold one shape. tuesdays is built from that identity. Not a marketing concept, but a name that existed before the brand did.
The full FAQ will be available when the store opens. In the meantime, reach us at hello@tuesdays.xyz
Tuesdays was born from the space between two worlds — a Ghanaian home and an American childhood, tradition and assimilation, meaning and the pressure to let it go.

Growing up as a first-generation Ghanaian kid in Texas, culture was never just background — it was breakfast, it was language, it was the name your parents called you before the school doors opened. But inside those doors, it was something else. Something to shrink. Something your peers didn't yet have the vocabulary to respect.

There is a particular experience of carrying something beautiful that the world around you isn't ready for. Of knowing the weight of your heritage before anyone else sees its value. Kanor lived that. And he held on to it anyway.

In time, perspectives shifted. What once felt like something to explain became something to celebrate — inside the home and beyond it. But by then, the lesson was already learned — what you carry quietly is often the thing worth most.

Tuesdays is a reimagining. Not a recreation. The Adinkra symbols of Akan tradition — Sankofa, Aya, Dwennimmen — carry centuries of meaning about resilience, wisdom, becoming. Here, they are reinterpreted through a modern luxury lens. Precise. Restrained. Wearable.

The name itself is personal. In Akan tradition, every child is named for the day they enter the world — an identity given before any choice is made. Those born on Tuesday are called Kwabena or Abena, names associated with the ocean. Not the surface of it. The depth, the movement, the refusal to hold one shape. Tuesday-born are said to carry those qualities — fluid, dynamic, endlessly expressive. A creative force that doesn't stay in one place. Tuesdays begins there. In identity that predates branding, in meaning that exists before the market.

This is not a heritage brand. It is not a cultural museum in jewelry form. It is what happens when tradition passes through a new lens — American-raised, globally minded, aesthetically deliberate — and comes out the other side as something you want to wear. Something that doesn't need to explain itself. Something that simply is.

Meaning translated through design.
Identity translated through taste.
Culture carried.
